Planning Your Destination Wedding

IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3

1. CONTACT US FOR A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION

This is such an exciting time of life and once you have started telling your news, advice will flow in from everywhere. You may know exactly what you want or just need some good advice. Regardless of how many or how few details you know, here is a good place to start making decisions about your destination wedding. Try our Location Ideas page or browse our FAQ’s or Ask A Destination Wedding Consultant for help.

2. MAKE THE BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

Who and how you tell them is completely up to you!  That’s the great thing about a destination wedding, there are no rules about your guest list or how you let people know. You can make your big announcement in a number of ways. The more traditional route is snail-mail save-the-dates and invitations or you can save time and money by emailing your save-the-date. Remember to give your guests enough time to ask off for work, make child care arrangements and make travel plans.  And be prepared to learn that not everyone will be able to attend your wedding for any number of reasons.

3. PACK YOUR BAGS AND ARRIVE EARLY

Make it part of your travel plans to arrive at least four days before your ceremony. This a great time for you and your fiance to get to know the resort before your guests arrive and also go over final details with your wedding planner. A few extra days will allow you to relax and welcome your guests in a stress-free manner.
